Abstract: Provided herein is a shock deflecting wall panel and beam assembly, beam, and truck trailer using the same. The trailer wall panel assembly comprises at least one wall panel and at least one beam, wherein the at least one beam is configured to be received and retained in the at least one wall panel. The beam comprises at least one edge, a first beam corner, a second beam corner and a third beam corner, a first arm, an intermediate section, and a second arm, wherein the first and second arms are substantially parallel to one another, and the beam is configured to be substantially vertically extending.
