Abstract: An example method may include receiving, at a device, a first frame over a wireless network and constructing a preliminary data portion of a second frame. The second frame may be configured for transmission over the wireless network. The method may also include in response to the receiving of the first frame at the device, beginning transmission of a header portion of the second frame over the wireless network and after the beginning transmission of the header portion of the second frame, constructing, based on the preliminary data portion, a finalized data portion of the second frame for transmission over the wireless network.

Abstract: A communication system includes multiple distributed antenna circuits and an access point (AP). The distributed antenna circuits include at least first and second antenna circuits. The AP is coupled to the distributed antenna circuits and includes multiple transmit chains, multiple receive chains, and an antenna control circuit communicatively coupled to the transmit chains and the receive chains. The first antenna circuit is co-located with the AP and the second antenna circuit is remote from the AP. The antenna control circuit is configured to determine a subset of the distributed antenna circuits to communicatively couple to at least some of the transmit chains to transmit data to a wireless station (STA) that is in range of the subset.

Abstract: An example method of wireless data transmission may include selecting a first frequency segment and selecting a second frequency segment that is different from and non-contiguous with the first frequency segment. The method may further include encoding a first signal with a data frame using the first frequency segment and encoding a second signal with the data frame using the second frequency segment. The method may further include providing the first signal and the second signal for wireless transmission such that at least a portion of the first signal and a portion of the second signal are simultaneously wirelessly transmitted.

Abstract: A wireless access point for latency-based contention may comprise a processing device and a transceiver. The processing device may be configured to monitor a media idle time using a media idle time counter, wherein the media idle time is measured from a last transition from a clear channel assessment (CCA) busy indication to a CCA idle indication. The processing device may be configured to identify a frame at a contention queue head. The processing device may be configured to determine a back-off counter when the frame arrives at the contention queue head. The processing device may be configured to push the frame for transmission when the back-off counter is less than or equal to the media idle time counter. The transceiver may be configured to transmit the frame.
