    Abstract: Disclosed is the measurement, identification, knowledge inference and notification alerting of fevers within individuals. Embodiments according to the present disclosure include a system for measuring at least two body temperatures. The first temperature is measured from a body region that correlates with deep body temperature; the second is measured from body regions capable of subcutaneous/deep tissue vasoconstriction. Temperatures of the first region are automatically compared to cutoff thresholds, and differences between the first and second regions are automatically compared to temperature difference thresholds. This apparatus automatically evaluates if none, one, or both thresholds have been exceeded. If none or one, then a subject can be identified as normal (afebrile). If both thresholds are exceeded a screening or test subject identified as febrile, where actions can be taken to isolate individuals to prevent spreading of communicable diseases.

    Abstract: An axial retention system for restraining axial movement of a first machine component having a dovetail within a complimentary-shaped dovetail slot in a second machine component that includes a first curved groove formed in a bottom surface of the dovetail slot and a second curved groove formed in a bottom surface of the dovetail.     Abstract: Rearview assemblies for a vehicle are provided. The rearview assembly includes a housing coupled to a mounting structure that is configured to be mounted in a vehicle. The housing includes a rearward viewing means, and also includes a lamp subassembly. The lamp subassembly includes a single white LED device mounted to a substrate, and also includes an optical assembly with secondary optics for reflecting and refracting light emitted from the LED such that the emitted light forms two separate pools of light external to the rearview assembly.
