Abstract:
A planar illumination device includes: a light guide plate including a pair of principal surfaces opposed to each other, one of the principal surfaces serving as a light emitting surface; a light source disposed to face a light incident surface of the light guide plate; an optical sheet disposed on the light emitting surface of the light guide plate; and a frame that houses therein the light guide plate. The frame includes a bottom portion formed of a sheet metal and a pair of resin portions facing the light incident surface of the light guide plate and an end face of the light guide plate opposite to the light incident surface, respectively.
Abstract:
A planar illumination device according to an embodiment includes a light source, a circuit board and a pair of routing portions. The light source has a light emitting surface that emits light. The light source is mounted on the circuit board. A pair of land portions is provided on the circuit board, serves as a region where solder for electrically connecting respectively a pair of electrodes of the light source thereto is applied, is formed of an electrically conductive material, and corresponds to the electrodes. The pair of routing portions extends from each of the pair of land portions to at least a cover lay that protects a wiring on the circuit board and is formed of an electrically conductive material integrated with the land portions. First missing portions, being a region where the electrically conductive material is missing, are provided in each of the pair of routing portions.
Abstract:
A planar lighting device includes a light guide plate, a plurality of light sources arranged in a line shape along a longitudinal direction of a side end face of the light guide plate, and a mounting substrate, on which the light sources are mounted. The mounting substrate has a base material, a conduction pattern formed on the base material, and a cover member arranged on the conduction pattern. The conduction pattern includes pairs of lands corresponding to a plurality of electrode terminals of each light source and to which the pair of electrode terminals is respectively connected, and first and second extension parts that are respectively connected to the pair of lands, extend from a first end portion of the lands, which faces the land of the adjacent light source, extend toward opposite sides of the light guide plate and to extend under the cover member.
Abstract:
A planar lighting device comprises: a mounting substrate having a conduction pattern having an extension part formed on a base material, and a cover member is arranged on the conduction pattern, wherein the cover member has an opening that exposes together the two lands of the two adjacent light sources, and wherein the extension parts comprise: a first extension part formed to extend from a first end portion of the lands toward the light guide plate and to extend under the cover member; a second extension part formed to extend from a second end portion, toward the light guide plate and the other land of the pair of the lands and to extend under the cover member; and a third extension part formed to extend from the first end portion, toward an opposite side to the light guide plate and to extend under the cover member.
Abstract:
There is provided a portable apparatus capable of detecting a touch position where a user touches the portable apparatus and a touch strength with which the user touches the portable apparatus. The portable apparatus includes: a rectangular frame on which a display panel unit is to be mounted; four touch detection-dedicated legs respectively extending from vicinities of four corners of the frame; a first strain gage attached to each of the touch detection-dedicated legs; and a calculation unit that finds the touch position and the touch strength based on an output of the first strain gage.
