Abstract:
Device for weighing flat objects in motion comprising a conveyor (12) with drive rollers (22A, 22B) for conveying the flat objects along a transport path (14), a weighing plate (16) facing said transport path and comprising a set of free rollers (160) for receiving the flat objects, and a weighing sensor (18) attached to the weighing plate for measuring the weight of the flat objects during their passage between the conveyor and the weighing plate, wherein the weighing sensor is arranged above the transport path and the conveyor is adapted to move vertically in order to press the flat objects in motion against the weighing plate.
Abstract:
A system for selectively C, Z or half-folding sheet(s) of paper of variable format, comprising: a pocket-like channel (10) with a stop element (12) for defining a paper sheet position and positioning the sheet(s) according to a location of a recipient's address A and a type of fold required, two folding rollers (2, 4) arranged diametrically opposite to each other and forming a folding/nipping area (6), an inducing element (8) movable towards and away from the folding/nipping area for defining a fold line position, and a curved guiding path (14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26) which substantially covers at least one of the two folding rollers for receiving and guiding the sheet(s) completely around one or the other of the two folding rollers without changing their rotational direction during the folding cycle.
Abstract:
A locker system for delivering heat sensitive products comprising a plurality of lockable compartments including at least one refrigerated lockable compartment, a control unit for controlling said plurality of lockable compartments, a cooling device comprising an expansion chamber receiving liquid CO2from a reserve of liquid CO2 and delivering gaseous CO2 in each of said refrigerated lockable compartments through at least one common duct, and an extraction system to avoid excessive concentration of CO2 in a building where the locker system is located.
Abstract:
Assisted manual mail sorting system for assisting an operator in manual sortation of mailpieces in a sorting station including a plurality of destination bins, the system comprising a headset wearable by the operator and connected to a computer comprising an image analysis software for extracting from an image of one of the mailpieces, a name, an address or other relevant information and a sorting application for determining a corresponding relevant destination bin, the headset comprising: a high resolution camera for capturing the image of the mailpiece, a transparent display for signalling to the operator the relevant destination bin where the article is to be placed by highlighting or overlaying a visual artifact on a view of the sorting station while the operator is looking at the sorting station.
