    Abstract: In accordance with example embodiments of the invention there is at least a method and apparatus to perform determining by an apparatus information of a list of ranges in a communication network where at least one closed access group cell may be found and where at least one mobile integrated access and backhaul cell may be found; scanning synchronization signal blocks for physical cell identifiers of a candidate cell that are found in both at least one system information block closed access group list or range and at least one system information block mobile integrated access and backhaul list or range; based on the scanning, decoding system information at the candidate cell to verify that the candidate cell is a mobile integrated access and backhaul cell and a closed access group cell; and based on the decoding, enable the apparatus to access the candidate cell for cell reselection.

    Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are disclosed a method and apparatus for receiving, from a network, a configuration for multi-user multiple input multiple output; and apply at least one default setting for at least one parameter for a multi-user multiple input multiple output advanced receiver, based on the configuration for multi-user multiple input multiple output; receive, from the network, a configuration for the at least one parameter for the multi-user multiple input multiple output advanced receiver; and apply at least one non-default setting for one or more of the at least one parameter for the multi-user multiple input multiple output advanced receiver, in response to the one or more of the at least one parameter being present within the configuration for the at least one parameter for the multi-user multiple input multiple output advanced receiver.
