Abstract: A method and device of fingerprint image generation for saving memory. The method includes generating a first fingerprint image of an original data size according to a plurality of first analog sensing signals which are read from a fingerprint sensor array before an exposure period ends. Then the first fingerprint image represented by a first data size which is equivalent to or smaller than the original data size is stored. a second fingerprint image of the original data size is generated after generating the first fingerprint image of the original data size according to a plurality of second analog sensing signals which are read from the fingerprint sensor array during the exposure period. The second fingerprint image represented by a compressed data size smaller than the original data size is then stored.

Abstract: A single-chip device for driving a panel including fingerprint sensing pixels, display pixels and touch sensors, electronic module therefor, and electronic apparatus are provided. The single-chip device comprises a main body, a first group of pads and a second group of pads disposed in the main body. The first group of pads comprise first pads for driving the fingerprint sensing pixels, and are disposed on at least one of a left portion and a right portion of the main body with respect to an axis. The second group of pads comprise second pads for driving the display pixels and the touch sensors, and are disposed on at least another one of the left portion and the right portion, wherein at least one group of the first group of pads and the second group of pads are disposed only on the one of the left portion and the right portion.

Abstract: A method and device of fingerprint image generation for saving memory are introduced. The method includes receiving a plurality of touch sensing values from a touch display panel and determining which touch sensing electrodes detect a touch event. An area corresponding to a number of touch sensing electrodes, which are a part of a plurality of touch sensing electrodes determined as detecting the touch event, is taken as an effective fingerprint area. The effective fingerprint area is determined by comparing a preset value and touch sensing values sensed by the plurality of touch sensing electrodes those are determined as detecting the touch event. The method further performs fingerprint sensing in a fingerprint readout area and storing a first fingerprint image corresponding to the effective fingerprint area .
