    Abstract: An image terminal apparatus includes: an imaging unit configured to image an object continuously and generate image data sequentially; a buffer memory configured to store temporarily and sequentially the image data; an I/F circuit configured to sequentially write the image data stored in the buffer memory on a recording medium attached externally; a communicating circuit configured to sequentially transmit the image data stored in the buffer memory through communication with a peripheral device according to a predetermined communication standard; a detecting circuit configured to detect a remaining amount of data storable in the buffer memory; a first determining circuit configured to determine whether the remaining amount is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold; and a data control circuit configured to control a mode of the image data sequentially stored in the buffer memory based on a determination result by the first determining circuit.

    Abstract: A portable device includes: a first communication unit configured to communicatively connect with an external communication device by using one of communication channels; a communication state determination unit configured to determine a communication state for each communication channel; a mode switching unit configured to switch a communication mode of the portable device between: a stable communication mode for establishing communication connection with the communication device by using a communication channel in a preferable communication state in the communication channels in accordance with a determination result obtained by the communication state determination unit; and a connection priority communication mode for establishing communication connection with the communication device by using a predetermined communication channel in the communication channels without determination by the communication state determination unit; and a communication controller configured to start communication connection with the communication device via the first communication unit in the selected communication mode.

    Abstract: An operating terminal operates an external device for projecting and retracting a part of the external device, and includes: a display unit that displays an image; a touch panel on the display unit, and configured to detect a touched area of an object and to receive a position signal in response to the touched area; a determining unit that determines a change of the touched area on the touch panel, based on the position signal; a detecting unit that detects a boundary of areas having different features in the touched area in the image; and a signal generating unit that generates a drive signal indicating a drive amount for causing the part of the external device to be projected and retracted, based on a determination result by the determining unit and a detection result by the detecting unit, and outputs the drive signal to the external device.
