Abstract:
An endoscope image processing device includes an image acquisition section and a boundary region correction section. The image acquisition section acquires image signals that form a front image corresponding to a front field of view and a side image corresponding to a side field of view as a single acquired image. A region within the acquired image that corresponds to the front field of view is referred to as a front region, and a region within the acquired image that corresponds to the side field of view is referred to as a side region. The boundary area correction section performs a process that causes at least one of an image of the front region and an image of the side region to overlap a boundary region that is a region that defines a boundary between the front region and the side region.
Abstract:
An endoscope includes: a first objective lens that causes an image of a first object to be observed to be formed; a second objective lens that causes an image of a second object to be observed to be formed; a light guide that guides illuminating light from a light source to an insertion portion; a light distribution member that distributes light from the light guide between a first observation direction and a second observation direction; a light amount varying portion for changing light amount proportions with respect to light emitted in the first observation direction and light emitted in the second observation direction; a distance detection portion that measures a second distance between the second objective lens and an object to be observed in the second observation direction; and a control portion that controls the light amount varying portion based on a second distance signal.
Abstract:
An illumination apparatus for an endoscope guiding externally-entering light to a transparent light-guiding body including an annular-shaped annular portion, the annular portion including inner and outer circumferential faces, and making the light exit from the annular portion as illuminating light, wherein the light-guiding body includes: a notch portion formed by cutting out a part of the annular portion so as to form a line extending perpendicularly from the outer circumferential face toward the inner circumference side of the annular portion from a line extending from a point on an outer circumference of a circle in a cross section of the annular portion; and an incident portion that allows the light to enter in a direction along the line extending from the point on the outer circumference, the direction being a direction perpendicular to a cutout surface of the notch portion provided in the annular portion.
