Abstract: The present disclosure provides portable capnography systems having multiple operational modes, with varying power consumption. Alternation between the operational modes may be conducted to reduce the overall power consumption of capnography systems. The power reduction may be advantageous in enabling capnography systems to be powered by mobile power sources.
