Abstract: An active electrical filter having an input, output and circuit common, and providing Q variation without affecting on-resonance gain, and including amplifier means including an inverting input and having a complex gain function G(S) which equals K (ST/((ST)2+ 1)); and combining means including a single variable element for combining the filter input and output and for applying the resultant thereof to the inverting input of said amplifier means, adjustment of said variable element providing said Q variation without affecting on-resonance gain of said filter.
