Abstract: A hybrid personal watercraft combines features of pontoon boats and deck boats, in a cost-effective and versatile package. The watercraft includes port and starboard sponsons which combine a pair of outboard flotation cavities. A space below the deck and above the hull bottom creates at least one, and potentially up to three additional flotation cavities, which may also be used as storage areas accessible by an access door in the bow of the watercraft and/or a set of hatches in the deck. The watercraft may be efficiently produced assembled from polymer materials, such as thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO).

Abstract: A dynamic adaptive ballasting system for selectively positioning batteries within the hull of a watercraft. For pontoon boats, the ballasting system may be disposed in a pontoon log, for example a middle pontoon log disposed between two outer pontoon logs. The ballasting system enables the balance and weight distribution of the watercraft to be dynamically adjusted for enhanced stability and performance.

Abstract: A pontoon is provided, comprising a plurality of pontoons. The plurality of pontoons may include a port-side pontoon, a starboard-side pontoon spaced from the port-side pontoon, and at least one a middle pontoon positioned intermediate the port-side pontoon and the starboard-side pontoon. A deck may be coupled to each of the port-side pontoon, the starboard-side pontoon, and the at least one middle pontoon. A manifold system may be positioned within the middle pontoon, and the manifold system may comprise a first portion including a first fluid conduit having an inlet in fluid communication with an exterior of the middle pontoon. The manifold system may further comprise a second portion removably coupled to the first portion and having a second fluid conduit positioned to receive fluid from the first fluid conduit. The manifold system may still further comprise a third portion including a third fluid conduit positioned to receive fluid from the second fluid conduit and having an outlet in fluid communication with the exterior of the middle pontoon. The second portion may be removably coupled to the third portion. Further, a motor may be coupled to the manifold system.

Abstract: A reel system may receive a leading edge of a flexible buoyant pad. The flexible buoyant pad may have a use configuration having a first outer vertical envelope and a storage configuration having a second outer vertical envelope that is smaller than the first outer vertical envelope. The reel system may comprise at least one base member, an arm rotatably coupled to the base member and a rotatable axle coupled to the arm. The rotatable axle may be rotatable relative to the arm and the rotatable axle may adapted to receive the flexible buoyant pad and support the flexible buoyant pad in the storage configuration. Further, an actuatable input may supported by the arm. The actuatable input may be configured to rotate the rotatable axle relative to the arm.

Abstract: A boat with a deck has a sidewall or railing at the periphery of the deck, a door opening in the sidewall with a hinged door, and a pocket ladder assembly adjacent the door opening. The pocket ladder assembly including a stowing enclosure and an access port on one side of the stowing enclosure facing the door opening. A collapsible ladder when in an upright compacted stowed configuration is receivable and stowable in the stowing enclosure. The ladder in the upright stowing configuration is movable laterally out of the stowing enclosure into a door opening seating position when the door is in an open position. The collapsible ladder then rotatable from the upright stowing configuration to an intermediate configuration. The ladder then further convertible from the intermediate configuration to a fully deployed configuration, where the ladder extends outwardly and downwardly from the boat deck.

Abstract: A pontoon boat having a battery stowage system for suspension of batteries in a pontoon. The system provides sufficient clearance between the batteries and a bottom interior of the pontoon to enable water that may enter the pontoon to pass under the batteries for discharge, for example with a bilge pump. The stowage system providing for positioning the batteries in a stowed position below the deck in a pontoon and for translating the batteries upwardly to a deck access opening. The system may provide ease of access during installation and service of the batteries while protecting the batteries from elements that may be present in the enclosure.
