Abstract: A polyacetal resin composition that allows molded articles to be inhibited from being deteriorated by contact with acidic detergents, and in which the portions that have contacted the detergents are inhibited from being deteriorated by light. The polyacetal resin composition includes 100 parts by mass of a polyacetal polymer, 0.1-2.0 parts by mass of a hindered-phenol-based antioxidant, 2.0-20 parts, excluding 2.0 parts, by mass of at least one of magnesium oxide and zinc oxide,0.5-3.0 parts by mass of a polyalkylene glycol, 0.2-1.5 parts by mass of a hindered amine compound, and 0.2-1.5 parts by mass of an ultraviolet absorber.

Abstract: A polyacetal resin composition capable of keeping the generation of formaldehyde from a molded article at a very low level and stably keeping mold deposits at a minimum during molding. The polyacetal resin composition includes at least (A) 100 parts by mass of a polyacetal polymer, (B) 0.01-0.50 parts by mass of an aliphatic carboxylic hydrazide, (C) 0.001-0.50 part by mass of a hydantoin compound having two hydrazinocarbonylalkyl groups, and (D) 0.001-0.30 part by mass of an alkaline earth metal salt of an aliphatic carboxylic acid. The total amount of (B) and (C) is 0.03-0.55 part by mass per 100 parts by mass of the (A) polyacetal polymer.

Abstract: An automobile interior component obtained using a specific polyacetal resin composition which allows for stable suppression of the generation of mold deposits during molding at elevated temperatures, and the reduction of the amount of formaldehyde generated from a molded article to an extremely low level, as well as the prevention of the bleed-out of an added component from the molded article, and the retention of a favorable appearance of the molded article. The automobile interior component is obtained using a polyacetal resin composition containing, at least 100 parts by mass of a polyacetal polymer (A); 0.03 to 0.30 parts by mass of a hindered phenol antioxidant (B); 0.01 to 0.50 parts by mass of an aliphatic carboxylic acid hydrazide (C); 0.001 to 0.50 parts by mass of a hydantoin compound having two hydrazinocarbonylalkyl groups (D); and 0.001 to 0.30 parts by mass of an alkaline earth metal salt of an aliphatic carboxylic acid (E), and the total amount of the components (C) and (D) is 0.03 to 0.55 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyacetal polymer (A).

Abstract: A method for producing a polyacetal resin composition which allows for suppression of formaldehyde generation from a molded article to an extremely low level, and stable suppression of mold deposits during molding. The polyacetal resin composition contains: 100 parts by mass of a polyacetal polymer (A); 0.01 to 0.50 parts by mass of an aliphatic carboxylic acid hydrazide (B); 0.001 to 0.50 parts by mass of a hydantoin compound having two hydrazinocarbonylalkyl groups (C); and 0.001 to 0.30 parts by mass of an alkaline earth metal salt of aliphatic carboxylic acid (D), wherein the total amount of the components (B) and (C) with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyacetal polymer (A) is 0.03 to 0.55 parts by mass, and wherein the polyacetal polymer (A) is a polyacetal copolymer obtained by copolymerizing trioxane as a principal monomer (a) with a cyclic ether having at least one carbon-carbon bond as a comonomer (b) using a heteropolyacid represented by general formula (1) as a polymerization catalyst (c) to obtain a reaction product, and subsequently adding a carbonate of an alkali metal element or alkaline earth metal element (d) to the reaction product to deactivate the polymerization catalyst (c).
