Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a first signal associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second signal associated with a second RAT. The UE may determine that first signal measurements associated with the first signal satisfy a first condition and second signal measurements associated with the second signal satisfy a second condition. The UE may transmit, to a first base station associated with the first RAT, a measurement report that excludes the first signal measurements and the second signal measurements based at least in part on the first condition and the second condition being satisfied. Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may disconnect from a first radio access technology (RAT) service, independent of signaling from the first RAT service, after sensing that the UE has entered a coverage hole. The UE may use a connection to a second RAT service while in the coverage hole in association with disconnecting from the first RAT service. The UE may disconnect from the second RAT service, independent of signaling from the second RAT service, after sensing that the UE has exited the coverage hole and before expiration of a radio link failure (RLF) timer for the second RAT service. The UE may reconnect to the first RAT service before expiration of an RLF timer for the first RAT service. Numerous other aspects are described.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a high speed train (HST) cell, a system information block (SIB) indicating an HST flag based at least in part on the UE camping on the HST cell. The UE may disconnect from the HST cell and camping on a non-HST cell based at least in part on a UE mobility in an HST railway. The UE may determine that disconnecting from the non-HST cell and camping on a new HST cell is to be prioritized over remaining on the non-HST cell, based at least in part on the UE being in the HST railway and based at least in part on a priority of HST cells being greater than a priority of non-HST cells. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine that a cell is associated with a deployment mode based on a condition being satisfied, where the deployment mode may be associated with serving one or more UEs travelling at high speeds. The UE may select from one of a frequency-based initial cell selection or a cell-based initial cell selection and may measure one or more frequencies of one or more cells including the cell to obtain a set of measured parameters, each cell corresponding to a respective deployment mode and a respective measured parameter. The UE may select a candidate cell from the one or more cells based on the respective measured parameters of each cell and the respective deployment modes of each cell and may establish a connection with the candidate cell based on the selecting.

The UE may activate a proxy subscription mode for the first subscription based at least in part on the determination that the first subscription of the UE and the second subscription of the UE are associated with the same cell and are being used for the same RAT, wherein the proxy subscription mode enables the UE to use the first subscription to perform one or more idle mode operations for the second subscription while the second subscription is in an idle mode. The first subscription may support dual connectivity with one or more cell groups, such as a master cell group (MCG) and a secondary cell group (SCG), while a second subscription may not support dual connectivity. Each subscription may support communications with one or more radio access technologies (RAT). The UE may use the protocol stack for a RAT in the first subscription to receive idle-mode signaling, such as one or more paging messages, from the second subscription using the same RAT.
