Abstract: Detection and prediction of laminitis risk in equine may be provided by receiving, from a user, input features related to an equine subject at a laminitis risk detection model; responsive to receiving the input features, calculating a laminitis risk score for the subject; determining a laminitis prediction and a treatment suggestion for the equine subject based on the input features and the laminitis risk score; and outputting the laminitis risk score, laminitis prediction and treatment suggestion to the user.
