Abstract: A device for oil absorption based on fiber-based medical waste. In one embodiment, the device is an outer bag filled with fillers, both the bag and the filler are made from the fiber-based waste materials, and the outside bag is coated with a functional polymer to enhance the oil absorption and retention capacity of the device.
