Abstract: An apparatus for and method of causing the concentration of coating materials in a coating solution to be automatically adjusted. The apparatus monitors the current flow from a power source to the coating solution and provides pulses substantially proportional to the integral of such current flow. The apparatus counts in a first direction in response to the pulses and energizes means causing the coating material solution to be adjusted in response to counting in the first direction. The energized means causing counting in a second direction until the apparatus reaches a determined count at which time the adjustment of the coating material is terminated.
