    Abstract: A separating device for the chipless cutting to length of plastic workpieces, in particular plastic pipes, has a support part as support for the plastic workpiece and a blade which is movable relative to the support part. The separating device is configured to supply a wetting liquid to the blade at its contact point with the plastic workpiece to be machined. A method for the chipless cutting to length of a plastic workpiece uses a water-containing gel as an application lubricant for the contact points on the workpiece side during the chipless cutting to length of a plastic or plastic composite workpiece.

    Abstract: A press die for a pressing tool for pressing round tubular sections of at least two workpieces has a through-hole with a circumferential die surface. It includes at least two die parts. Each of the at least two die parts comprises a circumferential section of the through-hole. At least one of the die parts comprises a round target contour over at least one region of the associated circumferential section of the through-hole. At least one other die part comprises a contour deviating from the round target contour over at least one region of the associated circumferential section of the through-hole. Thus, the circumferential sections of the through-hole associated with the at least two die parts are asymmetrical relative to each other with respect to a chord formed by the associated circumferential section of the through-hole.

    Abstract: An apparatus for cutting corrugated pipes to length includes a clamping device configured to act radially with respect to an axis so as to fix a corrugated pipe in a machining position. The apparatus also includes a cutting tool moveable into an active position against the corrugated pipe in the machining position and configured to bring about a separation by moving the cutting tool and corrugated pipe relative to one another. A stop device is configured to engage in a corrugation trough of the corrugated pipe wherein a spacing between the cutting tool and stop device is variable in the axial direction with respect to the axis.
