Abstract: A building automation system for controlling air quality of an environment inside a building. The system has at least one bioaerosol detector disposed in at least one location inside the building for detection of bioaerosols circulating inside the building, and has a processor in communication with the bioaerosol detector, and configured to a) determine when one or more thresholds of a bioaerosol has been detected, and b) activate building mitigation resources to reduce a level of the detected bioaerosol.
