Abstract: A display apparatus-including a first pixel, a second pixel adjacent to the first pixel, a first insulating layer, and a second insulating layer over the first insulating layer is provided. The first pixel includes a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer covering the first pixel electrode, a third insulating layer over the first EL layer, and a common electrode over the first EL layer. The common electrode is in contact with part of the top surface of the first EL layer. The first EL layer contains a first organic compound. The amount of an organic compound that includes an oxide of the first organic compound or a partial structure of the first organic compound and is contained in the first EL layer is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 1/10 of an amount of the first organic compound contained in the first EL layer.

Abstract: A highly reliable display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a first light-emitting element, a second light-emitting element, a first insulating layer, and a second insulating layer. The first light-emitting element includes a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer over the first pixel electrode, and a common electrode over the first EL layer. The second light-emitting element includes a second pixel electrode, a second EL layer over the second pixel electrode, and the common electrode over the second EL layer. The first insulating layer covers the side surface and part of the top surface of the first EL layer and the side surface and part of the top surface of the second EL layer. The second insulating layer overlaps with part of the top surface of the first EL layer and part of the top surface of the second EL layer with the first insulating layer therebetween, includes a region positioned between the side surface of the first EL layer and the side surface of the second EL layer, and includes a depressed portion in a position overlapping with the region. The common electrode is provided over the second insulating layer.

Abstract: A semiconductor device with high manufacturing yield is provided. The semiconductor device includes a plurality of subpixels. Each of the subpixels includes a first transistor, a second transistor, a first capacitor to a third capacitor, a first insulating layer, and a wiring. Each of the first capacitor to the third capacitor includes a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer, and a second insulating layer sandwiched between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer. The first insulating layer is provided over the first transistor and the second transistor. The first conductive layers of the first capacitor to the third capacitor and the wiring are each provided over the first insulating layer. In a top view, the proportion of the total area of the first conductive layers of the first capacitor to the third capacitor and the wiring to the area of the subpixel is greater than or equal to 15 percent. The area of the first conductive layer of the second capacitor and the area of the first conductive layer of the third capacitor are each greater than or equal to twice the area of the first conductive layer of the first capacitor.

Abstract: A display apparatus with high display quality is provided. A taper angle of the tapered side surface of the second insulating layer is less than 90°, and the common electrode overlaps with the second insulating layer.
