    Abstract: In X-ray tubes anodes are used which, are maintained in rotation during the production of X-rays for fluoroscopy and which anodes are supported by friction-diminishing members. The anodes are maintained in rotation for all operational periods during which there may be a wish to take X-ray radiographs. The anode is supported magnetically without contact, except an electrical one for transmitting current to the anode.
