Abstract: A method for determining a system power, which is maximally possible at a point in time, of a photovoltaic system, comprising a plurality of photovoltaic generators, wherein the photovoltaic system is not operated at the maximally possible system power at the point in time, and wherein at least some of the photovoltaic generators of the plurality of photovoltaic generators are operated at different operating points at the point in time, is disclosed. The method and associated apparatus includes defining a mapping between the different operating points of the individual photovoltaic generators and virtual operating points of a standard generator, determining virtual operating points of a standard generator corresponding to the different operating points of the individual photovoltaic generators based on the mapping, determining a characteristic curve of the standard generator from the virtual operating points of the standard generator, determining a maximum of the characteristic curve, and determining the maximally possible system power at the point in time from the maximum of the characteristic curve of the standard generator.

Abstract: A method for identifying an assignment of phase lines of an electrical distribution grid to connections of an electrical device capable of unbalanced-load operation, wherein the device is connected to a plurality of phase lines of the electrical distribution grid, includes setting target parameters assigned to an unbalanced load profile at each of the connections of the electrical device, detecting a temporal profile of a measurement parameter on each of the plurality of phase lines using a detection circuit, comparing the detected temporal profiles of the measurement parameters with the target parameters of the unbalanced load profile for each of the plurality of phase lines, respectively, and identifying the assignment of the phase lines to the connections on the basis of the comparison.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for controlling an electrical installation having electrical devices operated in an energy-producing, energy-storing and/or energy-consuming manner and are connected to an energy supply grid. The method includes a first stage which is aimed at achieving an installation target PAnl,Soll for a power flow PAnl assigned to the installation at the grid connection point, and a second stage which is aimed at achieving an individual device target PGer,Soll,i for a power flow PGer,i of each device from the plurality of devices. On the basis of detection of a power flow PAnl of the installation at a grid connection point and a comparison of the detected power flow PAnl of the installation with the installation target PAnl,Soll, the installation is operated in the second stage if the detected power flow PAnl of the installation is within a tolerance range around the installation target PAnl,soll, or is otherwise operated in the first stage. A control unit and such an installation are likewise described.

Abstract: A method for controlling a load by providing a total energy consumption and a time window for the total energy consumption of the load from one or more energy sources is described. The method includes determining of energy blocks, wherein the energy blocks are based on a power interval during a time interval, the time intervals are within the time window and the energy blocks are allocated energy-source-dependent costs, sorting of the energy blocks in ascending order according to the level of the costs per energy block and subsequent summation of quantities of energy that the energy blocks contain in ascending order of sorting until the total energy consumption of the load is reached. From this, on and off times of the load are determined by means of the time intervals that belong to the summed energy blocks, wherein the power intervals belonging to the respective energy blocks determine a power consumption of the load at the respective instant, and the load is actuated in accordance with the on and off times. An apparatus for carrying out the method is likewise disclosed.

Abstract: A method for controlling an electrical power which flows into or out of an electrical subnetwork via a connection point is disclosed. The subnetwork has at least one electrical load, and the electrical load is connected to a control device via a communication connection, the electrical power flowing via the connection point is measured and a maximum power consumption of the electrical load is set by means of the control device on the basis of the electrical power flowing via the connection point. A device for connecting a multiphase subnetwork, which has an energy production installation and an energy store, to a superordinate multiphase alternating voltage network is configured to transmit electrical power between the alternating voltage network and the subnetwork and comprises an AC/AC converter having a network connection, two inverter bridge circuits with an interposed intermediate circuit and a subnetwork connection. The device also comprises a control device which is configured to set the electrical powers flowing via the individual phases of the subnetwork connection on the basis of power values of the energy production installation and/or of the energy store by suitably controlling the inverter bridge circuits of the AC/AC converter.
