Abstract: Provided is a robot device including a plurality of legs to perform a moving work. The robot device includes: a plurality of legs; and a body portion to which the legs are attached, the body portion having a bottom surface higher than a ground plane of the legs that are shortened to a maximum. The body portion includes a loading portion on which a load is placed in a space surrounded by the plurality of legs. Abstract: A suitable posture according to a shape of a traveling surface of a robot can be stored in a storage, the suitable posture according to the shape of the traveling surface can be acquired from the storage when the robot is to be stopped, and posture control can be performed to stop the robot. A suitable stop posture analyzer that analyzes the suitable stop posture of a walking robot executes processing of analyzing the shape of the traveling surface of the walking robot, stop posture analysis processing of analyzing stop postures according to the shape of the traveling surface, stop posture evaluation value calculation processing of calculating evaluation values of the stop postures, and processing of recording, in the storage, a stop posture having a highest evaluation value among the stop postures according to the traveling surface shape. Furthermore, a stop control unit acquires the suitable stop posture corresponding to a traveling surface shape clustering group from the storage, and performs posture control to match a posture of the robot to the suitable stop posture and stop the robot.

Abstract: Traveling surface shape data of only a selection region selected on the basis of target foot placement information of a moving apparatus and a search range region is generated and a foot placement position and the like of the moving apparatus are determined, so that the processing load is reduced and high-speed processing is enabled. A data processing unit that analyzes detection information of a visual sensor and determines a movement route of the moving apparatus is provided, and the data processing unit generates traveling surface shape data such as three-dimensional point cloud data that enables analysis of a shape of a traveling surface of the moving apparatus. The data processing unit selects a generation target region of the traveling surface shape data on the basis of the target movement route information of the moving apparatus and a predetermined search range region, generates the traveling surface shape data in the selection region selected, and determines a movement route such as a foot placement position of the moving apparatus with reference to the generated traveling surface shape data.

Abstract: An object of the present technique is to favorably prevent an excess current upon initial charging of a capacitor for assisting power supply. A control unit is provided that controls a power system in which a power supply is connected to a load via a power supply line, a capacitor for assisting power supply is connected to the power supply line via a first switch, and the capacitor is configured to be charged while being subjected to current limitation due to intermittent driving by a switching power supply using the power supply as input. The control unit is configured to control the switching power supply so that an output voltage thereof becomes equal to a voltage of the power supply line and to control the first switch from an off-state to an on-state after charging of the capacitor is completed to connect the capacitor to the power supply line.
