    Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel including a plurality of pixels connected to a plurality of scan lines; a scan driving circuit, which drives the plurality of scan lines in synchronization with a clock signal; and a driving controller, which outputs the clock signal. While an operating mode is a multi-frequency mode, the driving controller comparts the display panel into a first display area and a second display area. A hold frame of the multi-frequency mode includes a first section during which the first display area is driven, and a second section during which the second display area is driven. The driving controller outputs the clock signal of a normal power mode during the first section and outputs the clock signal of a low-power mode during the second section.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, a data driving circuit, a scan driving circuit, and a driving controller. The driving controller receives an image signal and a control signal and controls the data and scan driving circuits to display an image on the display panel. The driving controller divides the display panel into first and second display regions based on the image signal, and outputs start and masking signals indicating starts of one frame and the second display region, respectively. First and second frames have first and second durations, respectively. The scan driving circuit sequentially drives scan lines in synchronization with the start signal and stop the driving of scan lines, corresponding to the second display region, of the scan lines, in response to the masking signal.

    Abstract: Provided is a scan driver of a display device, and the scan driver includes a driving circuit and a masking circuit. The driving circuit includes a control circuit, a first output circuit, and a second output circuit. The control circuit outputs a first control signal and a second control signal. The first output circuit is connected to a first output terminal which outputs a first scan signal and a first voltage terminal and operates in response to a first control signal.
