    Abstract: A display device includes four pixel arrays, a data driver, and a demultiplexer. The data driver is electrically connected to first and second data output lines. The demultiplexer electrically connects first and second data lines to the first data output line and electrically connects third and fourth data lines to the second data output line. The first to fourth pixel arrays are adjacent to the first to fourth data lines, respectively. Each of the first to fourth pixel arrays includes first and second color pixels. The first color pixels in the second pixel array are connected to the second data line, the second color pixels in the second pixel array are connected to the third data line, the second color pixels in the third pixel array are connected to the third data line, and the first color pixels in the third pixel array are connected to the second data line.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel and a display driver. The display panel has a first pixel structure. The display driver is configured to receive input image data including first data, and generate a driving signal for driving the display panel based on conversion data. The display driver includes a converter configured to convert the first data into the conversion data. The conversion data include conversion data in N rows and M columns. Each of (2K−1)-th column conversion data include first color conversion data representing a first color and second color conversion data representing a second color. Each of 2K-th column conversion data include third color conversion data representing a third color and fourth color conversion data representing the second color. N, M and K are positive integers.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel that includes a first display area and a second display area, a data driving circuit which drives a plurality of data lines, a scan driving circuit which drives a plurality of scan lines, and a driving controller which controls the data driving circuit and the scan driving circuit such that the first display area is driven at a first driving frequency, and the second display area is driven at a second driving frequency lower than the first driving frequency during a multi-frequency mode, where the driving controller receives an image signal and provides to the data driving circuit an image data signal obtained by compensating for a gamma level of the image signal corresponding to the second display area during the multi-frequency mode.

    Abstract: A driving controller divides a display panel into first and second display areas according to an operation mode, outputs a start signal indicating a start of one frame and a masking signal for indicating a start of the second display area, sets a basic driving frequency to a normal frequency when the operation mode is a normal frequency mode, sets the basic driving frequency to a frequency lower than the normal frequency when the operation mode is a multi-frequency mode, and outputs the start signal and the masking signal. The first display area operates at a first driving frequency and the second display area operates at a second driving frequency, and the scan driving circuit sequentially drives scan lines in synchronization with the start signal, and stops, in response to the masking signal, driving of some of the scan lines corresponding to the second display area.
