    Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing having a hole formed therein, an audio device inside the housing and communicating with an outside of the electronic device through the hole, a gas sensor inside the housing and communicating with the outside through the hole, a proximity sensor inside the housing, a wireless communication module inside the housing, and a processor inside the housing. The processor is configured to acquire data associated with air outside the electronic device by using the gas sensor, to recognize a user gesture of starting a proximity call by using the proximity sensor, and to calculate air quality of the outside air based on at least one of data acquired by the gas sensor before the proximity call starting gesture is recognized and data acquired by the gas sensor after a gesture of ending the proximity call is recognized. Other various embodiments are possible.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for improving the visibility of a display and an electronic device for implementing same, the electronic device comprising: a display panel including a polarization layer and a phase delay layer; an impact absorbing member disposed below the display panel and having an opening; an image sensor disposed corresponding to the opening; a first phase delay member disposed below the display panel to correspond to the opening such that a part of the light passed through the display panel and rotating in a circular direction of a first direction vibrates linearly in the first direction; a polarizing member disposed below the first phase delay member; and a second phase delay member disposed below the polarizing member such that a part of the light transmitted through the polarizing member and vibrating linearly in the first direction may rotate in a circular direction of a second direction.

    Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device including a liquid crystal, the electronic device including: a piece of glass; a display disposed under a first region of the piece of glass; a power supplying module; one or more electrode films; and one or more liquid crystal layers disposed between the one or more electrode films. The electronic device may also include: a light reflection member (e.g., cholesteric liquid crystal) disposed under a second region of the piece of glass; a processor operatively connected to the display, the power supplying module, and the light reflection member; and a memory operatively connected to the processor. The processor can check the content to be displayed through the display, and can use the power supplying module to supply power to the light reflection member on the basis of at least the checked content, so that the one or more liquid crystal layers reflects at least a portion of light incident from the outside of the electronic device. In addition, other embodiments are possible.

    Abstract: A conduit structure of an electronic device and an electronic device are provided. The conduit structure includes an inner structure including a front surface and a rear surface, wherein the front surface includes a first region configured to receive a display and a second region, which is a remaining area of the front surface of the inner structure; a receiver hole configured to penetrate the second region and to connect a receiver receiving space and an external space of the inner structure; a first through-hole configured to penetrate the first region and to connect the receiver receiving space and the front surface of the inner structure; a second through-hole, which is spaced apart from the first through-hole, configured to penetrate the first region and to connect the rear surface of the inner structure; and a flow path configured to connect the first through-hole and the second through-hole at the front surface of the inner structure.
