Abstract: A communication control method of an electronic device includes operating the electronic device in a first mode having a first operating cycle, and measuring a location of the electronic device. The method further includes, based on a result of measuring the location of the electronic device, and while in a first measuring cycle, determining whether the electronic device is located within at least one predetermined area. Also, the method includes changing the first operating cycle of the first mode or the first measuring cycle of the electronic device when the electronic device is located within the at least one predetermined area. The at least one predetermined area is at least one of a geo-fence and a communication accessible area.

Abstract: An electronic device and a method for controlling a moving device using the same are provided. The electronic device includes a radio frequency (RF) unit comprising RF circuitry configured to communicate with a moving device; a memory; a touch screen configured to display a user interface for controlling the moving device; and a processor electrically connected to the RF unit, the memory, and the touch screen, wherein the memory includes instructions that when executed by the processor, configure the processor to determine a function of the moving device based on a pressure intensity of a touch input and a moving direction of the touch input when the touch input is detected in the user interface and to transmit a control signal of the determined function of the moving device to the moving device through the RF unit.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise a bended display, a sensor unit, and a processor. The bended display includes a front display region, a side display region, and a back display region, which respectively correspond to a front face, a side face, and a back face of the electronic device. The sensor unit detects a motion of the electronic device. If an event occurs while content is displayed on the front display region, the processor controls the bended display to display a graphic object corresponding to the event on the front display region, and also controls the bended display to display a first screen corresponding to the graphic object on the back display region, based on the detected motion of the electronic device.

Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) may include: a flight body; a camera installed on the flight body; a sensor module mounted inside the flight body to sense nearby surroundings; a wireless communication module mounted inside the flight body to wirelessly communicate with an external communication device; a processor mounted inside the flight body and electrically connected with the camera, the sensor module, and the wireless communication module; and a memory electrically connected with the processor. The memory may store instructions that, when the unmanned aerial vehicle is in flight, cause the processor to: identify a first geofence region; broadcast flight information on a periodic basis; receive flight information from a second unmanned aerial vehicle in flight; determine whether there is an overlap between the first geofence region and a second geofence region of the second unmanned aerial vehicle; and if so, reset the first geofence region so that the first geofence region does not overlap with the second geofence region.

Abstract: A mobile device with a sensor hub and sensors and a method for controlling the mobile device are provided.
