    Abstract: A communication control method of an electronic device includes operating the electronic device in a first mode having a first operating cycle, and measuring a location of the electronic device. The method further includes, based on a result of measuring the location of the electronic device, and while in a first measuring cycle, determining whether the electronic device is located within at least one predetermined area. Also, the method includes changing the first operating cycle of the first mode or the first measuring cycle of the electronic device when the electronic device is located within the at least one predetermined area. The at least one predetermined area is at least one of a geo-fence and a communication accessible area.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing including a front surface plate, a rear surface plate facing a direction opposite the front surface plate, and a side surface member surrounding a space between the front surface plate and the rear surface plate; at least one attachment member coupled to the side surface member, and removably fastened to a human body, the at least one attachment member including a first attachment member coupled to at least part of the side surface member, and a second attachment member coupled to a position of the side surface member facing the first attachment member; a substrate arranged in the space in parallel with the front surface plate; at least one wireless communication circuit arranged on the substrate; a first conductive pattern electrically connected with the wireless communication circuit, and arranged on the side surface member in proximity to the first attachment member; a second conductive pattern arranged on the side surface member in proximity to the second attachment member; a first conductive member arranged in the first attachment member in proximity to the first conductive pattern to be capacitively coupled with the first conductive pattern; and a second conductive member arranged in the second attachment member in proximity to the second conductive pattern to be capacitively coupled with the second conductive pattern.

    Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) may include: a flight body; a camera installed on the flight body; a sensor module mounted inside the flight body to sense nearby surroundings; a wireless communication module mounted inside the flight body to wirelessly communicate with an external communication device; a processor mounted inside the flight body and electrically connected with the camera, the sensor module, and the wireless communication module; and a memory electrically connected with the processor. The memory may store instructions that, when the unmanned aerial vehicle is in flight, cause the processor to: identify a first geofence region; broadcast flight information on a periodic basis; receive flight information from a second unmanned aerial vehicle in flight; determine whether there is an overlap between the first geofence region and a second geofence region of the second unmanned aerial vehicle; and if so, reset the first geofence region so that the first geofence region does not overlap with the second geofence region.

    Abstract: A mobile device with a sensor hub and sensors and a method for controlling the mobile device are provided. The method includes receiving state information regarding the mobile device, setting a sensor sampling period based on the received state information, and receiving measured values from one or more sensors according to the set, sensor sampling period. The sensor hub receives the state information regarding the mobile device, sets a sensor sampling period based on the received state information, and receives measured values from one or more sensors according to the set sensor sampling periods. The mobile device controls the sensors via the sensor hub irrespective of the operations of the main processor. The sensor hub sets a sensor sampling period based on the received state values of a mobile device.
