    Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for AI/ML model LCM. A method performed by a UE includes transmitting, to a base station, a plurality of properties of supported functionalities for each of a plurality of AI/ML use cases, wherein each of the plurality of AI/ML use cases is configured with an individual use case ID; transmitting, to the base station, a maximum number of AI/ML active functionalities that the UE supports across the plurality of AI/ML use cases; receiving, from the based station, a report configuration based on the plurality of properties of supported functionalities for each of the plurality of AI/ML use cases and the maximum number of AI/ML active functionalities that the UE supports across the plurality of AI/ML use cases; generating a report based on the report configuration; and transmitting the report to the base station.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). A user equipment (UE) reports capability information indicating one or more tuples. Each tuple indicates a combination of serving cells configured for per-slot and per-span monitoring that the UE is capable of supporting. An indication is received in response to the capability information. A pair of values is determined based on the indication. A first value is a maximum number of serving cells configured for per-slot monitoring, and a second value is a maximum number of serving cells configured for per-span monitoring. A monitored candidate limit per slot is determined based on the first value. A monitored candidate limit per span is determined based on the second value.

    Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) based channel state information (CSI) prediction. The method includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a CSI reference signal (RS) from a base station; storing, by the UE, a series of CSI measurements corresponding to the received CSI-RS; receiving, by the UE, a CSI report configuration including an indication that artificial intelligence machine learning (AIML) CSI prediction is applied; in response to receiving the indication that AIML CSI prediction is applied, generating, by the UE, a predicted CSI based on the stored CSI measurements using a trained AIML model; and transmitting, by the UE, the predicted CSI to the base station.
