    Abstract: An electronic device includes a camera including at least one lens, an antenna array capable of outputting a beamforming signal in a direction corresponding to an axis of the at least one lens, a communication circuit electrically connected with the antenna array, and a processor. The processor may identify a function being executed through the processor, may output a first specified beamforming signal capable of communicating with an external electronic device through the antenna array by using the communication circuit, when the function does not use the camera, and may output a second specified beamforming signal capable of detecting an external object through the antenna array by using the communication circuit, when the function uses the camera.

    Abstract: A video encoding method and an electronic device adapted to the method are provided. The electronic device includes: a wireless communication circuit configured to communicate with a first electronic device, a touchscreen configured to display a user interface for performing a video call, a speaker, a microphone, one or more processors electrically connected to the communication circuit, the touchscreen, the speaker, and the microphone, and a memory electrically connected to the one or more processors, wherein the memory stores instructions that, when executed, cause the one or more processors to: receive a signal related to an incoming video call from the first electronic device via the wireless communication circuit, receive a user input accepting the video call via the user interface, transmit a signal accepting the video call to the first electronic device via the wireless communication circuit in response to the user input, receive a video stream from the first electronic device via the wireless communication circuit, wherein the video stream has been adapted at the first electronic device, based at least partly on: status information on the electronic device and/or status information on wireless communication between the electronic device and the first electronic device, display the received video stream on the touchscreen while providing voice from the video call, using the speaker, receive voice, using the microphone, and transmit the received voice to the first electronic device, using the wireless communication circuit.

    Abstract: An electronic device according to various examples comprises: a housing, in an unfolded state, including a first surface facing a first direction and a second surface facing a second direction opposite to the first direction and including at least one flexible portion; a touch screen display arranged between the first surface and the second surface of the housing, exposed through the first surface of the housing, and when viewed from above the first surface, including at least one flexible portion at a position corresponding to the flexible portion of the housing; and a pressure sensor arranged between the touch screen display and the second surface of the housing, and when viewed from above the first surface, including at least one flexible portion at a position corresponding to the flexible portion of the housing. The pressure sensor comprises: a first electrode layer formed substantially in parallel to the touch screen display; a second electrode layer spaced apart from the first electrode layer in the second direction and formed substantially in parallel to the first electrode layer; and a dielectric layer arranged between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer. Other examples are also possible.

    Abstract: According to one or more embodiments, an electronic device includes a housing including a first surface facing a first direction and a second surface facing a second direction opposite to the first direction, where a transparent cover forms at least one part of the first surface. The electronic device also includes a touch screen display disposed between the first surface and second surface of the housing and exposed through the transparent cover, a pressure sensor disposed between the touch screen display and the second surface of the housing, and having an active area for sensing pressure placed on the first surface by an external object and an inactive area disposed around the active area, a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) disposed between the pressure sensor and the second surface of the housing, and an electrically conductive connection member for electrically connecting the pressure sensor and the PCB. The electrically conductive connection member may be at least partially overlap with the active area of the pressure sensor when the electronic device is viewed in the second direction. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an electronic device equipped with a pressure sensor according to various embodiments. The electronic device may include: a housing including a first face facing a first direction and a second face facing a second direction opposite to the first direction, and including a conductive material provided on at least a portion of the second face; a touch screen display disposed between the first face and second face of the housing and exposed through the first face; a first pressure sensor disposed between the touch screen display and the second face of the housing and configured to sense pressure of an external object for the touch screen display; a second pressure sensor coupled to the second face of the housing and configured to sense pressure of an external object for the second face of the housing; and a support member spaced apart from the second face of the housing in the second direction. The second pressure sensor may include: a conductive pattern disposed between the support member and the conductive material; and a dielectric layer disposed between the conductive pattern and the conductive material. The second pressure sensor may be configured to generate an output on the basis of a change in capacitance associated with the conductive pattern, the conductive material, and the dielectric layer. Various embodiments may be possible for the pressure sensor.
