Abstract: A method and a device for managing a folder are provided. The method includes detecting installation of an arbitrary application, displaying a folder selection interface for selecting a folder corresponding to the installed application, and when an arbitrary folder contained in the folder selection interface is selected, managing the installed application according to the selected folder. Therefore, according to the present disclosure, it is possible to effectively manage an application for each folder.
