Abstract: Disclosed is an operating method of a storage controller communicating with a host and memory regions, which includes receiving a write request for a first memory region of the memory regions from the host, determining the first memory region as unavailable, based on a status information set, generating redirection information indicating that a second memory region of the memory regions is selected instead of the first memory region, performing a write operation in the second memory region based on the redirection information, updating status information of the second memory region in the status information set based on the write operation, outputting redirection result information indicating that write data of the write request are processed in the second memory region, to the host, and receiving a read request corresponding to the write data and including information of the second memory region from the host.

Abstract: An electronic device may include a display, a photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensor, a wireless communication circuit, a processor operatively connected to the display, the PPG sensor, and the wireless communication circuit, and a memory operatively connected to the processor. The electronic device implements the method, including monitoring blood glucose values of a user using the PPG sensor, displaying a notification prompting the user to measure blood glucose values using an external electronic device based at least partially on the monitored blood glucose values, and receive additional blood glucose values measured by the external electronic device using the wireless communication circuit.

Abstract: An electronic device may include a housing and a PhotoPlethysmoGram (PPG) sensor disposed inside the housing. The PPG sensor may include a first Light Emitting Diode (LED) configured to generate light in a first wavelength band, a second LED configured to generate light in a second wavelength band, a third LED configured to generate light in a third wavelength band, a fourth LED configured to generate light in a fourth wavelength band, and a light receiving module including at least one photo diode. The electronic device may include a processor operatively coupled with the PPG sensor and a memory operatively coupled with the processor. The memory may include instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to measure optical densities of the light generated by the first LED to the fourth LED, and calculate a blood glucose value based at least in part on the measured optical densities.

Abstract: Provided are a universal flash storage (UFS) device for preventing a replay attack, a method of operating the same, and a UFS system. The UFS device including: a memory including a replay protection memory block (RPMB) region, the RPMB region including one or more index fields storing a second write failure index; and a memory controller including at least one controller memory storing one or more instructions, wherein the memory controller is configured to execute the one or more instructions to cause the UFS device to: receive, from an external device, an RPMB write request including a first write failure index, meta information, and a first message authentication code generated based on the first write failure index and the meta information, and determine whether to perform an authentication operation on the external device based on the first write failure index and the second write failure index.
