A method for providing a service related to an electronic device by using a master device in a zone, according to the present disclosure, may include the operations of: checking whether a user exists in the zone by using radar; tracking the movement of the user in the zone if the existence of the user is confirmed; and providing a service related to the electronic device to the user, where the electronic device is included in the determined zone so as to be controlled by the master device.

Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed. An electronic device according to various embodiments includes: a housing including a first surface and a second surface disposed to face the first surface and defining an internal space; a battery disposed adjacent to the second surface of the housing; and an antenna module comprising at least one coil disposed to face the first surface on the battery, wherein the antenna module includes: a base; a first wireless charging coil disposed on a surface of the base; a first NFC coil spaced apart from the first wireless charging coil disposed on a surface of the base and disposed outside the first wireless charging coil; a second wireless charging coil disposed at a position corresponding to the first wireless charging coil on an other surface of the base; a second NFC coil disposed at a position corresponding to the first NFC coil on the other surface of the base and surrounding a partial region of the second wireless charging coil; and a shield sheet disposed under the second wireless charging coil and the second NFC coil, and the antenna module includes a first region in which the second NFC coil and the second wireless charging coil are disposed and a second region corresponding to an other region, and the shield sheet has different thicknesses in the first region and the second region.

At least one of the conductive materials of the plurality of housing modules may be electrically connected to the antenna power feeding unit of the printed circuit board so as to function as an antenna of the electronic device. Various embodiments may be made based on the technical idea of the present disclosure.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing including a first surface facing in a first direction, a second surface facing in a second direction to the first direction, and a side member enclosing at least a portion of a space between the first surface and the second surface; a first metal plate positioned between the first surface and the second surface; a conductive coil positioned within the housing, having a shaft substantially perpendicular to the first direction or the second direction, and that winds around the first metal plate; a first communication circuit positioned within the housing and electrically connected to the conductive coil; a second communication circuit positioned within the housing and electrically connected to the first metal plate; a display exposed through at least a portion of the first surface; and a processor positioned within the housing and electrically connected to the first communication circuit, the second communication circuit, and the display. The second surface may include a first portion made of a conductive material and including a first opening and a second portion made of a non-conductive material and that fills the first opening. The conductive coil may be positioned under the first portion when viewed from above the second surface. A portion of the first metal plate may be wound with the conductive coil, and another portion of the first metal plate may be electrically connected to the second communication circuit. The another portion may extend to the first opening when viewed from above the second surface, a first magnetic flux may be generated in the conductive coil by the first communication circuit, and a second magnetic flux advancing in a direction perpendicular to an advancing direction of the first magnetic flux may be generated by the second communication circuit in the another portion of the first metal plate.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, the electronic device may include: a first antenna having a first polarization characteristic, a second antenna a having a second polarization characteristic different from the first polarization characteristic, a switch operatively connected to the first antenna and the second antenna, and a processor operatively connected to the first antenna and the second antenna through the switch. The processor may be configured to identify, based on transmitting at least one packet using the first antenna, at least one timestamp of the packet, control the electronic device to transmit a first area of the packet based on a first timestamp of the identified timestamp using the first antenna, switch the first antenna to the second antenna based on a second timestamp of the identified timestamp, and control the electronic device to transmit a second area of the packet based on the second timestamp of the packet using the second antenna.

Abstract: An electronic device includes first and second antennas, a magnetic stripe transmission (MST) integrated circuit (IC), and a processor. The first antenna is disposed between first and second surfaces of the electronic device and in parallel with the first and second surfaces of the electronic device. The first antenna outputs a signal in a first direction. The second antenna is disposed between the second surface of the electronic device and the first antenna and in parallel with the first and second surfaces of the electronic device. The second antenna outputs a signal in a second direction. The MST IC controls the first and second antennas. When a payment mode is executed, the processor controls the MST IC such that one of the first and second antennas outputs an MST signal and the other of the first and second antenna outputs a jamming signal for interfering with wiretapping of the MST signal.
