Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a memory, a communication interface, and a processor configured to receive, from an external device through the communication interface, information corresponding to a user voice input obtained by the external device, perform a function corresponding to a trigger recognition on the user voice input based on trigger information corresponding to a trigger stored in the memory, and based on the user voice input not including the trigger corresponding to the trigger information based on the trigger recognition, perform a function corresponding to a voice recognition on the user voice input based on the information corresponding to the user voice input obtained by the external device, wherein the information corresponding to the user voice input obtained by the external device includes similarity information between the user voice input obtained by the external device and the trigger information.

Abstract: Disclosed are an electronic device and method for detecting the proximity of an object. In an embodiment, the electronic device includes a communication module, a sound emitter, a sound receiver, and a processor. The processor receives at least one part of a voice signal from a calling party through the communication module, and determines whether there is a voice idle time in the at least one part of the voice signal. When the voice idle time is present in the at least one part of the voice signal, the processor outputs a sound wave in an inaudible frequency band through the sound emitter during the voice idle time. Then the processor receives, through the sound receiver, sound wave in the inaudible frequency band reflected from an object. Next, the processor may detect whether the object is proximate to the electronic device using the reflected sound wave in the inaudible frequency band.

Abstract: Disclosed in various embodiments of the present invention are an electronic device for controlling a clock frequency and an operating method therefor. The electronic device comprises a communication module and a processor, wherein the processor can be configured to check, by using the communication module, a state of a downlink channel of a carrier to be transmitted, determine, on the basis of the channel state, a reference frequency band for a signal to be transmitted through the communication module, determine, as a first clock frequency, a clock frequency for at least one constituent element included in the electronic device if the reference frequency band is a first reference frequency band, and determine, as a second clock frequency, a clock frequency for at least one constituent element included in the electronic device if the reference frequency band is a second reference frequency band. Other embodiments are also possible.
