    Abstract: A louver film is provided. The louver film includes a louver portion having a wound structure in a state in which a stack including a light-transmitting layer, a light-blocking layer, and an adhesive layer is wound, wherein the louver portion includes a light-transmitting portion formed of, at least, the light-transmitting layer, and a light-blocking portion formed of, at least, the light-blocking layer, wherein at least one of a refractive index of the light-blocking layer or a refractive index of the adhesive layer is different from a refractive index of the light-transmitting layer.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a light source, a light collection part, a liquid crystal part, and an anisotropic diffusion layer. The light source emits light. The light collection part collects the light emitted from the light source in the front direction of the liquid crystal display device so that, when an image is displayed, the light collecting property in a left-right direction is different from the light collecting property in an updown direction. The liquid crystal part controls a transmission state of the light collected by the light collection part using a liquid crystal. The anisotropic diffusion layer anisotropically diffuses the light transmitted through the liquid crystal part.

    Abstract: Resin films and the like capable of improving viewing angle characteristics and antireflection characteristics, for example, when the resin film is applied to a display are provided. The resin film includes a low-refractive-index layer 17 and an anisotropic diffusion layer 16. The low-refractive-index layer 17 has a refractive index of 1.40 or less. The anisotropic diffusion layer 16 anisotropically diffuses light. The anisotropic diffusion layer 16 contains anisotropic particles 162 and a resin portion 161. The anisotropic particles 162 have an anisotropic shape and a longitudinal direction aligned along one direction. The resin portion 161 diffuses the anisotropic particles 162 and is formed of a resin. A reflectivity of the resin film excluding a specular reflection light component is 1.0% or less.

    Abstract: An optical member, a polarization member, and a display device are provided. The optical member includes a substrate, and a functional layer provided on the substrate, the functional layer including a high refractive layer and a low refractive layer, wherein the high refractive layer has a higher refractive index than that of the substrate and a diffraction grating structure, and the low refractive layer has a lower refractive index than that of the high refractive layer, wherein an interface between the substrate and the high refractive layer and an interface between the high refractive layer and the low refractive layer are in states in which components of the respective layers with the respective interfaces therebetween are compatible with each other.
