    Abstract: An electronic device with a rollable display may include the operations of: obtaining global burn-in information and local burn-in information according to a designated sampling period; on the basis of the result of analyzing the global burn-in information, predicting whether burn-in will at least partially occur in the entire area of a display area; when burn-in is predicted to at least partially occur in a boundary area, generating a first compensation map including pieces of local compensation data calculated to correspond to m block areas of the boundary area, respectively; when burn-in is predicted to at least partially occur in an area remaining after excluding the boundary area from the entire area, generating a second compensation map including pieces of global compensation data calculated to correspond to n block areas of the entire area, respectively; and controlling the rollable display to display image data compensated on the basis of the first compensation map or the second compensation map.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a touch screen display including an organic light emitting layer that is formed of a plurality of pixels, a wireless communication circuit, a processor operatively coupled with the display and the wireless communication circuit, and a memory operatively coupled with the processor. The memory stores instructions that, upon execution, enable the processor to provide a first mode of displaying a first graphical user interface (GUI) on the display by using a first number of colors in a state where all the pixels are turned on, a second mode of displaying a second GUI on the display by using a second number of colors in a state where some of the pixels are turned off, and a third mode of displaying a third GUI on the display by using the first number of colors in a state where some of the pixels are turned off, and select one of the first mode, the second mode or the third mode on the basis of at least one of a state of the electronic device, a content of the GUI or a use pattern of a user.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display panel on which a plurality of pixels are arranged, first group lines providing a source voltage to each of the plurality of pixels, a display driver integrated circuit that includes a plurality of source amplifiers electrically connected with the first group lines and providing the source voltage to each of lie plurality of pixels, at least one sensing line crossing the first group lines, and first group switches disposed on the at least one sensing line, and a sensing circuit electrically connected with one end of the at least one sensing line to check a crack in at least a partial region of the electronic device. The display driver integrated circuit receives a specified signal for the electronic device to enter a sense mode, applies a first voltage to the other end of the at least one sensing line that is distinguished from the one end of the at least one sensing line, in response to the received specified signal, turns on the first group switches such that the at least one sensing line is short-circuited from the other end of the at least one sensing line to the sensing circuit, obtains a second voltage sensed by the sensing circuit electrically connected with the one end of the at least one sensing line, and checks information regarding the crack in the at least partial region of the electronic device based on a difference between the first voltage and the second voltage. In addition to the above, various embodiments identified through the specification are possible.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an electronic device including a display panel, an oscillator generating a clock signal, a display driving integrated circuit (DDI) generating first time information, using the clock signal, a sensor, and at least one processor identifying a variable measured by using the sensor or second time information corresponding to a reference time. The at least one processor is configured to measure a variable, using the sensor, to correct an error time between the first time information and second time information corresponding to a reference time, based on the variable, and to deliver the corrected error time or the second time information to the DDI such that the DDI corrects the first time information based on the corrected error time to display a screen of the display panel. Besides, various embodiments as understood from the specification are also possible.
