Abstract: A method for uploading, validating, and visualizing data in an oilfield software platform includes obtaining oilfield data at least partially collected using one or more sensors at a wellsite, deployed into a well, or both. The oilfield data comprises a plurality of data files, the plurality of data files being of different types. The method also includes loading the plurality of data files into a landing area, and validating the oilfield data contained in the plurality of data files. Validating includes examining dependencies between at least two different types of data, and visualizing lineages between different entities represented by the plurality of data files.
