Abstract:
This invention pertains to a method of inkjet printing on fabric, comprising the steps of pretreatment, printing with a white underprint of substantially the same shape as the colored image and printing an image on the fabric. The preferred digitally printed inks are pigmented inks.
Abstract:
An imaging system with an imaging mechanism which includes polarization analyzers, which may be crossed polarization analyzers, positioned to provide birefringence images of particles in the fluid passing through the flow chamber. Captured images are of high resolution and may be used in comparison to known images of a library of images. The system and related method enhance the accuracy and sensitivity of particle monitoring by utilizing birefringence imaging combined with particle analysis and the detection of each particle's characteristic features, such as crystalline features. The system includes a scatter detector used to trigger backlighting of the flow chamber and capture images of particles therein.
Abstract:
This invention pertains to inkjet printing on fabric and to a pretreatment solution for the fabric that allows high quality printing thereon. The preferred digitally printed inks are pigmented inks.
Abstract:
The present invention relates generally to the field of fishing drag scales. More specifically, the present invention relates to a fishing reel drag set device that is comprised of a body, an upper and lower housing, two eyelets and a power supply. The device may be adjustable or non-adjustable (i.e., static), wherein the adjustable version allots the user multiple tension settings for the line and the static version has only one tension setting. Other visual and audible elements such as colored LEDs, a speaker relay and visual and audio indicators are provided to help identify if the drag in the fishing line is too heavy or too light. Accordingly, the device can be applied to any fishing rod and fishing line to aid a fisherman in using a desired drag setting when attempting to catch a fish.

Abstract:
The present invention pertains to an aqueous inkjet ink, preferably white in color, comprising a polymerically dispersed titanium dioxide and a crosslinked polyurethane binder. The invention also pertains to an ink set with an aqueous white ink as one of its inks. The invention also pertains to a method of inkjet printing with the ink and ink set. The use of the dispersed titanium dioxide and crosslinked polyurethane binder described herein results in inkjet inks having adequate stability, and having a particular utility in printing on textiles.
Abstract:
An optical system includes a curved window, an optical corrector adjacent to a curved inner surface of the window, an optical train positioned such that the optical corrector lies between the curved window and the optical train, a movable optical train support upon which the optical train is mounted, and a sensor disposed to receive an optical ray passing sequentially through the window, the optical corrector, and the optical train. The optical corrector has an inner surface and an outer surface, at least one of which has a shape described by a modified Zernike polynomial surface.
