Abstract: A light-emitting device includes at least one light-emitting element including a first electrode and a second electrode facing each other, and a light-emitting layer provided between the first electrode and the second electrode. At least one of the light-emitting elements includes a plurality of carrier transport layers and at least one insulating layer, both being layered between the first electrode and the light-emitting layer.
