Abstract: The disclosure discloses a double-side liquid crystal display device and a backlight module thereof, the two metal wire grating polarized films with perpendicular metal wire gratings can utilize reflective light of the liquid crystal panel on one side to provide incidence light to the liquid crystal panel on the other side, the incidence light and the reflective light of the two liquid crystal panels compensate mutually to improve light utilization efficiency significantly and brightness of the two liquid crystal panels, and brightness of the two is unified simultaneously; moreover, the built-in metal wire grating polarized film substitutes the polarized plate attached on outside of the substrate, which can reduce processes and costs without sacrificing characteristics of polarized light; white backlight is formed by the blue LED, the red and green quantum dots to increase color gamut and brightness of the double-side display device.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a manufacturing method of wire grid polarizers. The manufacturing method includes: forming a wire grid structure on a mold substrate, wherein the wire grid structure comprises a plurality of wire grids spaced apart from each other, bonding the wire grid structure with a carrier substrate by quantum-dot (QD) adhesive, wherein the QD adhesive includes QD material and adhesive, and detaching the wire grid structure from the mold substrate. The manufacturing process of the wire grid polarizers may be simplified and the yield rate may be enhanced. With the configuration, the color range, the brightness, and the optical performance of the display panel may be enhanced.

Abstract: Disclosed is a flexible substrate, which relates to the technical field of display. The flexible substrate includes a first film and a second film arranged from bottom to top in sequence. The second film is arranged to counteract birefringence effect generated by the first film so as to eliminate phase retardation of the flexible substrate. Thus, display effect can be improved, and impacts on a substrate due to increasing of film thickness can also be avoided. Besides, thickness of the flexible substrate can be determined according to actual needs.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a display panel including a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate. The display panel also includes a first polarized film and a first frame glue, and the first polarized film adheres to a surface of the first substrate facing toward the second substrate. The first frame glue connects between the first substrate and the second substrate such that a closed cell is formed cooperatively by the first substrate and the second substrate. The first polarized film and the liquid crystal layer are received within the closed cell. The present disclosure also relates to a liquid crystal display device. The first polarized film is isolated from external environment so as to enhance the stability of the first polarized film.
