    Abstract: The present invention is to provide a urethane adhesive composition which exhibits excellent heat-resistant adhesion after storage to resin. The present invention relates to a urethane adhesive composition including: a urethane prepolymer having an isocyanate group; an isocyanurate compound having an isocyanurate ring; a terpene compound having active hydrogen; and a vinyl silane coupling agent represented by Formula (A) below: (where in Formula (A), R1 and R3 each independently represent a monovalent hydrocarbon group, R2 represents a (n+1) valent hydrocarbon group, Vi represents —CH═CH2, m1 is from 1 to 3, m2 is from 1 to 3, m3 is from 0 to 2, m1+m2+m3 is 4, and n is 1 or greater).

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a multilayer member that provides excellent adhesiveness without using a primer. An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a multilayer member including a first member containing a crystalline thermoplastic resin, an adhesion layer, and a second member in this order, the method including a surface treatment step of performing dry treatment on a surface of the first member containing a crystalline thermoplastic resin, satisfying the following condition A, an adhesive application step of forming an adhesive layer in a surface subjected to the dry treatment of the first member by applying an adhesive to the surface subjected to the dry treatment of the first member without interposing a primer composition, and an adhering step of making the second member adhere onto the adhesive layer.

    Abstract: There is provided a two-part urethane adhesive composition including: a main agent containing a polyisocyanate component (A); and a curing agent containing water and an active hydrogen-containing compound (B). The (B) contains a compound represented by Formula (4); the (A) contains a urethane prepolymer (A-3); an average active hydrogen concentration of the (B) is 0.50 to 3.50 mol/kg; an average active hydrogen concentration of the (B) and the water is 2.00 to 8.00 mol/kg. The main agent and the curing agent are mixed in such amounts as to satisfy conditions that: a ratio of the number of isocyanate groups of the (A) to the number of active hydrogens of the (B) is 1 to 5; and a ratio of the number of isocyanate groups of the (A) to the total number of active hydrogens of the (B) and the water is 0.5 to 2.5.

    Abstract: An embodiment of the present technology is an isocyanate-based adhesive used for a surface-treated crystalline thermoplastic resin base material, the isocyanate-based adhesive having a value represented by (JIS-A hardness)/(strength at break [MPa])×(elongation at break (%))/100 of 2.0 to 70 after being cured by being allowed to stand still under a condition at 23° C. and 50% RH for 3 days, and the crystalline thermoplastic resin base material having a value represented by (δd/δp+δp) of 2.0 to 30.0. δp=γp−γp0 and δd=|γd−γd0|, γp0 is a polar term of surface free energy before the surface treatment, γp is a polar term of surface free energy after the surface treatment, γd0 is a dispersion term of the surface free energy before the surface treatment, and γd is a dispersion term of the surface free energy after the surface treatment.

    Abstract: In an adhesive selection method, test data is acquired by subjecting an adhesion complex, obtained by integrally bonding one material and an other material that are heterogeneous using an adhesive, to a shear test, in which a tensile shear load is applied to the adhesion complex in a direction that causes shear deformation in the adhesive, until adhesive failure takes place. Based on the test data, a plurality of two- or three-dimensional FEM analysis models of the adhesion complex with varied adhesives are constructed. On each of the analysis models, a simulation is performed in which a tensile shear load is applied. Based on the stresses and locations of the stresses generated in each of the analysis models in the course of the, the adhesive for binding one member made of the one material and the other member made of the other material is selected from among the adhesives.

    Abstract: A method for producing a multilayer member having a first member containing a crystallizable thermoplastic resin, an adhesion layer, and a second member includes performing a dry treatment on a surface of the first member containing a crystallizable thermoplastic resin so as to satisfy conditions A and B, applying an adhesive to the surface of the first member to form an adhesive layer on the surface, and adhering the second member to the adhesive layer. (A) The ultimate temperature of the first member is lower than the peak temperature of endothermic peak obtained by DSC of the crystallizable thermoplastic resin. (B) The high temperature holding time of the first member is less than 3.0 seconds, which is when the first member is continuously held at a temperature not lower than a temperature at the starting point of the endothermic peak obtained by DSC of the crystallizable thermoplastic resin.

    Abstract: The present invention is to provide a method for producing a laminate having excellent adhesion properties. An embodiment of the present invention is a method for producing a laminate, the method including: a step 1 of dry-treating a surface A of a plastic to obtain a dry-treated plastic having a surface B that has been dry-treated; a step 2 of wiping the surface B with a cleaning tool containing a composition for wiping, the composition containing at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of water and polar solvents, and a silane coupling agent, to obtain a cleaned plastic having a surface C that has been wiped with the cleaning tool; and a step 3 of applying at least one selected from the group consisting of adhesives and primers on the surface C to obtain a laminated body.
