Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing a recombinant protein, the method including: a first step of culturing a recombinant cell expressing a recombinant protein under control of an inducible promoter in a medium containing galactose and at least two selected from the group consisting of mannitol, raffinose, and melibiose; and a second step of further culturing the recombinant cell under a condition that expression from the inducible promoter is induced after the first step.
