Abstract: A Lambda reservoir computing system that can readily handle shifts in the distribution of input and output data. Data is modulated onto the spectrum of a broadband optical pulse which is subjected to nonlinear optical effects transforming the data to a higher optical dimensional space. The optical information is converted to electronic signals for processing by an electronic machine learning stage which then generates an output based on the data processed by the learning stage.
