Abstract: A gas barrier film comprising a resin base material, an oxygen barrier coating provided on at least one surface of the resin base material, and a base layer and/or an inorganic oxide layer provided between the resin base material and the oxygen barrier coating, wherein the black area ratio of one surface measured by the following measuring method is 0.15% or less: An arbitrary region of 1281 μm square on one surface of a resin base material is photographed with an optical microscope to acquire a photographed image of 1024×1024 pixels, the photographed image is converted into a monochrome image of 256 gradations using an image analysis software, and the value obtained by subtracting 30 from the most frequent value of the luminance in the monochrome image is set as the threshold, the value less than the threshold is set to black, and the value not less than the threshold is set to white, thus binarizing the luminance, and the ratio of the total area of the black regions having a size of 100 μm2 or more in the 1281 μm square region is defined as the black area ratio.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a gas barrier layered body including: a substrate layer containing a polyolefin-based resin; a first polyvinyl alcohol-based resin layer; a Si or Al-containing thin film layer; and a second polyvinyl alcohol-based resin layer, in the stated order, in which a logarithmic decrement at 100° C. of the first polyvinyl alcohol-based resin layer as measured by a rigid-body pendulum type physical property testing instrument is 0.20 or less and a logarithmic decrement at 125° C. is 0.30 or less, and an indentation hardness of the second polyvinyl alcohol-based resin layer as determined by a nanoindenter is 0.5 to 1.0 GPa.

Abstract: A gas barrier layer-forming composition contains a solid content containing a polyurethane resin, a water-soluble polymer and a curing agent. The polyurethane resin contains a reaction product of an acid group-containing polyurethane resin having an acid group and a polyamine compound having an amino group. The polyurethane resin content, the water-soluble polymer content, and an inorganic layered mineral content in the solid content are 45 mass % or more and 75 mass % or less, 20 mass % or more and 35 mass % or less, and less than 2 mass %, respectively.
