    Abstract: A converter system includes a first converter, a second converter, and a first inter-phase transformer. The first converter is electrically connected to the second converter in parallel between a first input terminal parallel end and a first output terminal parallel end.     Abstract: A methanol conversion process comprises contacting a feedstream comprising methanol, optionally with dimethyl ether or other oxygenates with a catalyst comprising a physical mixture of a molecular sieve, preferably an intermediate or small pore size zeolite such as an MFI zeolite, with a basic metal oxide to provide extended catalyst cycle life by reducing the incidence of coke formation. The process may be applied to the methanol-to-gasoline (MTG), methanol to distillate (MOD), methanol-to-olefins (MTO), methanol-to-chemicals (MTC) and combination processes such as the MTO/OCP Process.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to molecular sieve compositions and a process to synthesize such compositions. More particularly, this invention relates to a catalyst composition with metal oxide deposited on the exterior surface of the molecular sieve particles. The metal oxide can be deposited by contacting the molecular sieve particles with a solution of a metal-containing salt and a solvent, the metal-containing salt solution having an anion size larger than the pore size of the molecular sieve particles. The molecular sieve particles can then be dried and then treated under conditions sufficient to form a metal oxide, whereby at least a portion of the metal-containing salt can be converted to metal oxide.
