Abstract: A truck bed cover assembly includes a driver side cover door and a passenger side cover door and opening mechanisms which are electrically powered to independently open and close each of the cover doors from a closed position at which the cover doors enclose an upper end of the truck bed to an open position which can be varied up to at least 180° from the closed position. The opening mechanisms include a kinematic triangle, an arcing bow and a linear actuator which are arranged to open and close the cover doors
