Abstract: An inventive flexible medical item container comprises a unique adhesive and cohesive viscoelastomeric thermoset polymer. In preferred embodiments, medical items can be repeatedly releasably adhered to and removed from the top side of the container. In addition, the bottom side of the container can be disposed upon and adhered to an object, such as a medical garment, such that the container can be located proximate or adjacent to a medical, dental or hygienic procedure location. In some preferred embodiments, the container further comprises antimicrobial properties. In some preferred embodiments, the container further comprises cleansability properties.

Abstract: A viscoelastic material comprises a unique adhesive and cohesive thermoset viscoelastic polymer coated onto a flexible substrate. The polymer can be formed by curing an uncured polymer mix derived from a thermosetting reaction media of a carefully balanced ratio of isocyanate prepolymer, polyether diols, polyether triols and organic plasticizers. The viscoelastic material can exhibit viscoelastic, adhesive, cohesive, releasability, cleansability and antimicrobial properties. In some aspects, the viscoelastic material can be fabricated into a personal protective article. In one embodiment, the personal protective article is a footwear cover.

Abstract: An inventive thermoset viscoelastomeric polymer and adhesive products thereof is provided. In some embodiments, an inventive adhesive product consists essentially of the thermoset viscoelastomeric polymer. In other embodiments, the thermoset viscoelastomeric polymer can be applied to a support member to provide an inventive adhesive product. In still other embodiments, the thermoset viscoelastomeric polymer can be applied to a conventional article to convert the article into an inventive adhesive product. The thermoset viscoelastomeric polymer and products thereof can comprise viscoelastic, adhesive, cohesive and releasability properties. In some embodiments, the thermoset viscoelastomeric polymer and products thereof can comprise cleansability and reusability properties. In further embodiments, the thermoset viscoelastomeric polymer and products thereof can comprise antimicrobial properties.

Abstract: Hygienic trays adapted to effectively restrain items under hygienic conditions are provided by equipping hygienic trays with an antipathogenic, cohesive and adhesive thermoset overlay provided in the form of an adhesive insert or tray coating. The overlay adhesively restrains emplaced items until manually removed from the overlay by the hygienic user while also providing an unexpected superior antipathogenic environment. The hygienic trays are particularly useful from hygienic applications wherein hygienic conditions and a need to stabilize trayed items against displacement are of a dominant concern. The tray may be of a simple platform design with or without a typical bordering rim which may be adapted for hand carriage or mounted onto another supportive structure.

Abstract: An inventive decubitus prevention device comprises a thermal support member disposed upon a massage member. The massage member comprises at least one manipulation element disposed within a housing component and is configured such that the manipulation element is in contact with the bottom side of the thermal support member. The thermal support member comprises at least one thermal element at least partially encased within a polymeric member. In some embodiments, the inventive decubitus prevention device can further comprise a therapeutic member disposed upon the thermal support member. The therapeutic member comprises a cushioning polymer disposed at least upon the top side of a mitigation member. The inventive decubitus prevention device can provide a therapeutic force to a user, and can additionally provide a heating effect and/or a cooling effect to a user. The inventive decubitus prevention device can be utilized with a bed (such as a mattress combination), a wheelchair, a lounge chair, a couch, an office chair, an examination table, and the like.

Abstract: The invention provides a unique system for providing partition dividers in stowing units (e.g. shelving, trays, and containers). This is accomplished by providing a stowing unit with an adhesive viscoelastomeric thermoset polymer which adhesively restrains a free-standing divider adapted to be removed and repositioned at any desired positon to fit a user's stowing needs. The adhesive polymer is also cohesive and releases both the divider and any stowed items in contact with the polymer via the application of a counteracting removal force sufficient to overcome the adhesive attraction of the polymer. Accordingly, dividers fixedly attached to conventional sectionalized containers are suitably replaced herein by the repositionable divider combination.

Abstract: An inventive articulating medical stand comprises a lower horizontal support member, a vertical support member, an upper horizontal support member, a tray mounting member and an adhesive medical tray member. The vertical support member is connected to the lower horizontal support member and is capable of vertical height adjustment, and optionally axial rotational adjustment. One end of the upper horizontal support member is connected to the vertical support member and is capable of axial rotational adjustment. The tray mounting member is slideably connected to the upper horizontal support member and is capable of linear adjustment along the longitudinal length of the upper horizontal support member. The tray mounting member is also capable of angular rotational adjustment with respect to the longitudinal axis of the upper horizontal support member. The adhesive medical tray member is removably connected to the tray mounting member and comprises a releasably adhesive component for attachment of medical items. Accordingly, the articulating medical stand is configured such that the adhesive medical tray member can be adjusted through all axes of dimension.
