Abstract: The invention relates to a light module for a motor vehicle comprising an optical element intended to generate a beam with a partly oblique cut-off, the optical element comprising at least one optical portion having an optical axis, and at least one light source configured to cooperate with said portion intended to generate at least the part of the beam comprising the oblique cut-off. The optical module comprises at least two distinct positions for arranging the light source, the light source occupying one of the two positions, each of the positions being defined on either side of the optical axis of the optical portion so as to generate a beam with oblique cut-off to the right in the first position and a beam with oblique cut-off to the left in the second position.
