Abstract: A luminous device for a motor vehicle, said device including a pixelized light source and an optical system that is arranged to project a pixelized light beam emitted by the pixelized light source, the optical system comprising a first mirror arranged to collect and reflect rays of the pixelized light beam emitted by the pixelized light source, a second mirror arranged to reflect the rays reflected by the first mirror, and a third mirror arranged to receive the rays reflected by the second mirror and to reflect these received rays so as to correct field aberrations. The invention enables improved projection of a pixelized light beam by a luminous motor-vehicle device.

Abstract: An object detection system for a motor vehicle is proposed. The system includes an array of electroluminescent light sources, an array of light sensors and a calculating unit. At least one of the electroluminescent light sources is able to emit a signal. At least one of the sensors is able to receive the emitted signal that has been reflected by an object. The calculating unit is able to calculate, by triangulation, the position of the object on the basis of the position, in one of the arrays of electroluminescent light sources, of at least one of the electroluminescent light sources able to emit a signal and on the basis of the position, in one of the arrays of light sensors, of at least one of the sensors able to receive the signal reflected by the object.
