Abstract: A motor vehicle lighting device that includes a means for emitting a first cut-off light beam along an optical axis where the cut-off is a substantially horizontal line that includes a cut where the cut extends in a coordinate system formed by a horizontal reference axis (HR) that is parallel to a first horizontal axis (HI) passing through the substantially horizontal line; and a vertical reference axis (VR) that is perpendicular to the horizontal reference axis (HR) and to an optical axis; where the optical axis passes through the coordinate system's center; Also is included a means for emitting a second light beam that is horizontally divided into a multitude of selectively activated light segments where the light segments illuminate a zone located astride of the first horizontal axis (HI) that is characterized by the cut, which includes a proximal longitudinal end along the horizontal reference axis (HR) between 1.25° and 1.5° or between −1.25° and −1.5° and which includes a lower vertical end along the vertical reference axis (VR) at a height of −0.75° or below.

Abstract: A lighting module for a motor vehicle includes a first light source and a first collimator for generating a first light beam of “low beam” type in collaboration with a first projection lens. Also included are second and a third light sources, the second light source collaborating with a second collimator to generate a first beam complementing the first light beam in order to form a second light beam of “high beam” type. In order to reduce the visibility of a cut-off zone in the second beam, the third light source collaborates with a third collimator and/or a second projection lens in order to form a second complementary beam which at least partly overlaps the cut-off zone. A front headlight for a motor vehicle can include such a lighting module.

Abstract: A vehicle luminous module intended to generate a light beam along an optical axis includes primary light guides each including an entrance dioptric interface and an exit, and a light source arranged facing an entrance dioptric interface. A projecting assembly includes a focal region and an exit member, the projecting assembly being arranged so that the light rays passing through said focal region and reaching the exit member are imaged in a projection field downstream of said projecting assembly. The exits of the guides are arranged level with the focal region. The luminous module includes at least one secondary light guide distinct from the primary light guides, and arranged so as to deviate light rays generated by the light source so that they do not reach the exit member, and/or so as to spread said light rays in said projection field.
