Abstract: Large rolls of reeled paper sheet may be supported for unwinding by a flexible support sling which conforms to the curvature of said roll adjacent an arcuate portion of the peripherial surface thereof, said support sling being perforated by one or more apertures which are in fluid communication with a pressurized gas source.
